I'm addicted to yoooouuuu.

For serial, I tried to think of my life before I exchanged it for cyber-living over the interwebz. Before I started creating countless online profiles and spending hour upon hours doing nuffin' but "liking" & "retweeting" & "scrobbling" & all that other bullshit, and all I saw was a scrawny, sad little kid crying himself to sleep each night [read as: a healthy and active young'un who had friends and enjoyed a plethora of different activites].

Back when I only used the computer to commit homicidal death houses in The Sims and Saw-worthy murda contraptions in Roller Coaster Tycoon, I would never think of spending horaz surfing...da web.

But then I got my own computer, a faster internet connection & moved outta mah parent's house. Now NOTHING will stop me from wasting countless hours I can never get back (sob, sob) on the web.

A Facebook, Twitter, Blogspot, MySpace, LiveJournal, My-Diary, Angelfire, Photobucket, Netflix, Skype account, Last.FM, Tumblr & YouTube later, and I must say that I have become just a tad preoccupied with da interwebz. So I wanted to get help (not really)! So I found dis online test that tells you how dependent you are on the interwebz.

My score? Only a 57%! Maybe I'm not a lost cause (or maybe I am, who cares?!)! Let's make our own little make-shift episode of mutual Intervention & share our stories of struggle over the Internet addiction we for obvz all suffer from! And don't try and deny it and say you have a healthy relationshit with the Internet...pages upon pages of Facebook thread comments, viral YouTube vidz and annoying FarmVille updates really beg to differ!

I got a 59. I guess I'm safe. Scary to think about who might be a 100 though...

I got a 40...which they say makes me an average online user....but they test underasked questions about needless Internet porn downloading, so I think my score should be higher. :)

I have no idea how, but my score is only 44. And I answered truthfully, including "Always" for "How often do others in your life complain to you about the amount of time you spend on-line?" or "2. How often do you neglect household chores to spend more time on-line?" and "Often" for "14. How often do you lose sleep due to late-night log-ins? "

Who knew I was an "average" internet user? I guess it's only because I don't "fantasize about being online" or "get depressed if I'm not online".

On the other hand, I'm online almost every waking hour of the day (by laptop or smartphone), so I think my score might be off kilter a bit ;-)

Well, I get a message that the page does not exist. So maybe I don't exist. I'm not even real, I'm just a construct of the internet, a disembodied consciousness floating through time space and the ethernet, contributing little to the overall knowledge of the world while filling up the internet with my drivel. Yeah, that's it. Oh and I'm totally addicted.

54%

How is that possible? I'd say that on average, I sit in front of a computer for 19 hours a day. I've even started bringing my phone to bed with me so I can check my email and texts as soon as I wake up. The computer is just tooooo far away.

35! Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook (in that order) are the main sites I frequently visit. I only spend hours on Tumblr because I follow too many people lol

23 for me

I knew I couldn't be any more than an average user. But then again, as you know, I've only had my laptop for a year, so I could get worse!

Love, mom

27 was my score. During this semester,I spend the majority of my time on the computer, not to go on-line, but to do work for school. When I do have free time, I try to stay far away from the computer as possible. I don't want to see e-mails, blogs (sorry Josh, nothing personal), facebook, no computer writing at all. Speaking of computer work, I've been at it all day, and not sure if I'm making sense. I can hardly put two thoughts together right now, so I'm signing off, talk to you later!! Pour me some wine and nighty night. Zzzzzzzzz :)

But...your blog is usually the first place I go to when I need a break from dull computer work. It livens things up!

Oh, the last comment was from your awesome older sister who may stay anonymous forever. How do I get my blog name anyway?

I scored a 24. I'm a total Internet loser. Sure, I spend time online, but I never feel obligated or feel the need to be online most of the time. I enjoy disconnecting from all the electronica too much. I haven't even been on Twitter that much over the past couple months. I think Twitter has run it's course. And I may post a status update on Facebook once every day or so. And I'm a blogger, can you believe that?

Sweetie,

Naughty is a 34. I'm kind of surprised it was that high, really. Because lately I hardly do anything but work and read tree ware. It's on account of I'm frozen and my fingers aren't working due to the froztbitez. I think last week it might have been colder in N. FL than NYC! Sorry I've been so lame about bloggy commenting lately!
